The 2010 CIE MathComp was a great success with over 430 students competing in grades 1 through 7. Many regular Math Circle participants were among the award winners particularly in grades 4 through 7.
A special highlight of this year’s event was a key note address given by our own Dr. Titu Andreescu. In the well attended lecture, Dr. Andreescu gave the parents a useful primer on various math contests and made a strong case for problems solving as a part of a full education. You can find Dr. Andreescu’s slides by clicking on the graphic to the right or the link at the bottom of this post.
